Great to have you here! Let’s dive right in: I develop creative brand communication for all channels. Preferably digital. Whether in German or English, freelance or permanent, I support agencies and production companies in bringing ideas to life with clarity, originality, and purpose.
I learned my craft at Texterschmiede Hamburg. Since then, I’ve worked with both major agency networks and smaller, independent teams (you’ll find the details below), helping shape communication for brands across industries – from food and finance to tourism, healthcare, telecoms, and automotive. Along the way, plenty of successful pitches and even more satisfied clients.
As a Creative Director for copy and concept, I’ve been leading and mentoring creative teams since 2009 – developing brand stories that stick and strategies that resonate. But great ideas are only half the job. The other half is earning trust, guiding clients, and making sure the project gets off the ground. Because even the best concept means little if it never sees the light of day.
In 2020, I shifted my focus more deeply into film. I helped establish a new production company as Head of Creation and worked with my team to deliver smart, impactful online video content for SMEs. Communicating big ideas even on small budgets? That’s a creative challenge I genuinely enjoy.
I also picked up some hands-on experience in directing and post-production in the process. You don’t get any dumber by trying new things – and film has always been my favorite medium. During that time, I also began exploring the creative potential of generative AI.
What else? I’ll take coffee over tea. Andor over The Mandalorian. Road trip over all-inclusive. Too loud over too quiet. Pub quiz over triathlon. Sci-fi, fantasy, board games, comics – I believe there’s a story in everything, and I enjoy discovering it.
One more thing: I don’t always look as sullen as I do in the photo above. Maybe we’ll get a chance to meet in person? I’d be pleased!

We probably don’t know each other yet. Maybe we can change that. Here are a few random facts about me – a quick peek inside my head to give you a sense of how I tick.
01
My first career goal? Driving an excavator. That dream crashed early, though. My cousin told me I’d need to buy my own digger, which would cost at least a thousand marks. Tough break for a three-year-old.
02
My first university major was law. That didn’t last long. I realized pretty quickly that five years surrounded by popped collars and pearl necklaces wasn’t for me. Took me a while to learn that lawyers can actually be cool people – where were you guys back then?
03
The pink donkey in that photo has been with me since my first birthday. Unlike me, he hasn’t aged a day. Too bad he doesn’t spill his skincare secrets.
04
“Imagination, not intelligence, made us human.” – Terry Pratchett
If you haven’t read his books, I wholeheartedly recommend them. That rare mix of wit, heart, and insight: few writers pull it off as effortlessly as he did.
05
“Das is’n absoluter Hot Job. Müssen wir fresh ran und emotionslos durchfliegen, damit wir das finale Go kriegen.”
I once heard this in a meeting – completely straight-faced. If that sentence doesn’t make you laugh, we might not be on the same wavelength.
06
This list might benefit from some inspiring statement on sports. Pushing limits, chasing endorphins, runner’s high… You know what I mean. Truth is: I find running dull, and I only go to the gym out of a guilty sense of duty. No hidden athlete here, I’m afraid.
07
What I do enjoy, though, is playing games. Console games, board games, pen & paper RPGs – you name it. I’ve always loved playing. Thought I’d grow out of it someday. Glad I didn’t.
08
Something else that hasn’t faded: that uniquely German sense of Fremdschämen whenever someone uses the word “kultig.” If you know, you know.
09
Ever noticed how sandwiches taste so much better when someone else makes them for you?
10
Life is not meant to be taken personally.
11
I suck at numbers.
