Great to have you here! Let’s get started right away: I develop creative brand content for all channels. Preferably digital. In German or in English. On a permanent or freelance basis. For agencies and film productions.
I learned the ropes at Texterschmiede Hamburg. Since then, I’ve been working for large networks as well as for smaller agencies (you can find out more below) on brands from a wide range of industries, including food, financial services, tourism, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and automotive. Many pitches won, even more satisfied clients.
As a creative director for copy and concept, I’ve been leading and coaching creative teams since 2009, developing brand communication that resonates. But that’s only half the job: I spend the rest of the time selling the results to my clients and consulting them on creative solutions – what use are good ideas if they don’t get realized?
In 2020, I decided to focus on film production; until recently, I worked for Frischer Film, a newcomer production that I helped to establish. As Head of Creation, I worked with my team to provide SMEs with online video content. Effective brand communication, even with slim budgets: that’s a nice challenge for any creative.
Being able to gain some directing and post-production experience in the process is a nice bonus. You don’t get any dumber from trying something new, and film has always been my favorite medium anyway. I was also able to learn a a few things about working with Gen-AI during this time.
What else? Rather coffee than tea. Rather Andor than Mandalorian. Rather a road trip than all-inclusive. Better too loud than too quiet. Better a pub quiz than a triathlon. SciFi. Fantasy. Board games. Comics. There’s a story in everything and I enjoy looking for it.
One more thing: I don’t always look as sullen as I do in the photo above. Maybe we can get to know each other in person? I’d be pleased!

We probably don’t know each other yet. Maybe we can change this: Here’s a few random things about me. Just a brief glimpse inside my head to give you a first idea of how I roll.
01
First career ambition: to drive an excavator. However, my cousin soon talked me out of it; you’d need your own digger and that would cost a thousand marks. At minimum. Terrific: Only three years old to see your first dream shattered.
02
First university course: law. Quite a short affair, because I felt that five years among upturned polo shirt collars and pearl necklaces wouldn’t work well for me. It was much later that I realized lawyers can also be interesting people. Where were you when I needed you!
03
The pink donkey in the photo has been hanging out with me since my very first birthday. Unlike me, he somehow hasn’t aged, but he just won’t tell me what beauty products he’s using.
04
“Imagination, not intelligence, made us human.” Terry Pratchett. I highly recommend reading his novels: Writing funny, clever and warm-hearted at the same time is a rare combination.
05
“Das is’n absoluter Hot Job. Müssen wir fresh ran und emotionslos durchfliegen, damit wir das finale Go kriegen.” Heard this in a meeting once. No kidding. If that kind of statement doesn’t make you laugh as well, I might not be the right guy for you.
06
Any list like this one would totally profit from some inspiring statement on sports. Overcoming boundaries. Experiencing extremes. Runner’s high. The truth is: Running just bores me, and I only drag myself to the gym out of pure sensibility. Sorry, there’s not an ounce of athlete in me.
07
Better than sports: games. Console, board game, pen & paper RPG… whatever. I just love to play. Always used to think this would stop once you grew up. Well, it fortunately hasn’t.
08
Something that will probably never stop either: That overwhelming sense of Fremdschämen whenever someone uses the word “kultig”. Guess you have to be German to relate to this.
09
Ever noticed how sandwiches taste so much better when someone else makes them for you?
10
Life shouldn’t be taken personally.
11
I suck at numbers.
